Kent Stetson

9 June, 2016

In 2012 I was living in Providence, Rhode Island and met Kent Stetson at one of his early trade shows. Kent was making one-of-a-kind bags and clutches. They were avant-garde, artistic and playful. The one I bought at the time was traditional and vintage. A perfect piece of something blue for my wedding; pretty blue silk with Belgium lace. In the four years since we first met Kent’s business has grown and he is represented now at Nordstrom, the Denver Art Museum and other shops.

I recently ran into Kent this March and after chatting we decided it would be fun to style a few of his clutches at an upcoming fashion shoot of mine. Here are a few that represent the colour, theme and playful nature in Kent’s work. Available for purchase on Kent Stetson’s Website with prices starting at $195.
